Our easy to use hosting accounts can have your content available direct from your website in a matter of minutes. Easystreams core services include On-Demand hosting services. This service allows for the delivery of prerecorded encoded content. We also offer live Webcasting services. Content includes radio stations, business meetings, product releases and educational meetings.

Technical Questions

Q - What is the difference between On-Demand and Live Webcasting?
A - On-Demand content is a prerecorded media file that is archived using an On-Demand hosting account. Users can then request the On-Demand file for viewing/listening and any point in time. Examples would be mp3's, Windows Media files, Real Media files and Quicktime files.
Live Webcasting is when live media such as radio/tv is broadcast in real time. Once the broadcast is over the content is no longer available to users unless it is placed in an On-Demand archive account. View Live Webcasting Accounts.

A - On-Demand accounts support Windows Media, Real Media, Quicktime, MP3, MPEG-4, plus many others.

Q - What is bandwidth transfer?
A - Bandwidth transfer is the actual amount of data that is downloaded by your viewers. Example: If your media file is 2.5 megabytes in size and is viewed ten times, you will be using 25 megabytes of transfer.
