For the past few years Easystream has been broadcasting C.A.R.'s annual convention meetings from various live locations in California. C.A.R. wanted to start producing these event as well as start broadcasting from there corporate headquarters and remote locations.
Easystreams challenge was to design a portable hardware based encoding solution that was rugged and contained all the needed hardware for broadcasting. Easystreams solution was to develop an intuitive custom portable webcasting station that broadcasts in both the Windows Media and Real media formats. This solution highlights include full firewire capabilities from the camera, mixer and the encoder making it truly a fully digital encoding solution.
